Australian Bushfire Help provides general information and updates on Australian bushfires 

and connects people, resources and services. 

 

Australian Bushfire Help came into being during the 2019-2020 National Bushfire Crisis, ‘Black Summer’, to provide a community resource to help connect people impacted by bushfires with relevant assistance providers. 

My background is Environmental Science (BSc Environmental Science). Along with fellow residents, I was devastated to see what happened to our beautiful country of Australia between June 2019 and February 2020. I have been impacted, my family and friends lost homes or businesses and their townships have been impacted.

Pressing on is so important.

Whilst we stop at times, to grieve over what has been lost, there are too many people to help and our wildlife needs much help too.
