Council Urges Bushfire Property Owners to Answer the Clean-Up Call

Snowy Valleys Council

Wed Apr 22 2020 02:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)

Owners of properties recently damaged or destroyed by bushfire are being urged to register today to be involved in the NSW Government and Australian Government funded clean-up program and to answer the phone when contractor Laing O’Rourke calls.

Snowy Valleys Council Mayor James Hayes said, despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, the clean-up effort is ramping up and Service NSW staff were working around the clock to get in touch with property owners, some of whom aren’t answering the phone.
